Music has no barriers and A.R.Rahman has no limitations.
The man needs no introduction. The maestro has been entertaining our nation with his soothing music over the years. We have been dancing to his tunes, falling in love with his music, soothing our souls with the ever-lasting effect in his music. There is something more than sound in his music.
He z a pride to the nation and with his music direction in Slumdog millionaire, the maestro is shining as gold over the globe. The world is mesmerising to the tunes of the Mozart of Madras. Its Rahman all the way, being honored with awards like Padma Shri by our Government, he z the first Indian national to win a Golden Globe making a beeline for the most covetted statuettes, the Oscar. We, Indians are proud of you and you'll always be our idol, the Indian Idol.
Rahman tujhe salaam!!

Yeps! He indeed is an asset of the nation. His music stands out from the league of all other kinds and can be identified amidst a dozen tunes. Wish him all the best for the oscars!
well said..and all the good wishes, but its kinda strange that he gets nominated for the score which isn't his best by any means...
but still, he is the BEST !!
Only original thing in Slumdog Millionaire is Rahman's score!!
He is indeed the best and deserves the honour!!
are us sure ??
dont want to start a debate, but have u heard ringa ringa and that ghastly song from khalnayak called choli ke peeche ??
but still, he is the best, no doubt!
btw u shud write sumthing bout slumdog as well..it will be worth a read, wat ya think, perky??
I din't say that he has done his best in Slumdog... Wat I meant was, besides the story and screenplay, Rahman's score is original in the movie! So, he is the one who needs to be acknowledged if you are nominating the movie!!
Write abt slumdog.., ummm, a lot has already been said about the movie, it'll only be reading it all out again, don't you think so??
naah...
u were among the first who dint like it that much..so it will b fun to hear ur side as well.. :P
Its not that I din't like that, it waz gud and the team needs to be praised for portrayin India unknown to some Indians as well!!
But as far as its being nominated in Oscars is considered, we have far better movies from our industry and we've seen a bit of everything in Slumdog.. before!!
naah..
m not talking bout wat the movie shows or wat it doesnt.
MY issues are with the way movie is made. i mean, sensationalizing the whole poverty thing, no one will jump into a lake of s*** for an autograph !!
and it was shabbily narrated and directed after the kids grow up...
kids were the only good things..
It seems it would more be fun to read ur views about the movie than mine!!
Why don't you give it a try!! ;)
he he !!
if u insist..
I will, someday...
:)
PS:
and i hope it doesnt win an oscar
for the best movie....
And I hope Rahman wins what he deserves!!
he sure WILL :)
Rehman has showed the prowess of INDIAN music and m sure he will carry d flag forward.....Kudos to REHMAN
