The act is considered to be illegal in many countries including India. The reason for the act to not to be legalized is given to be "we have no right to kill anybody!", some folklores say "Our custom/traditions doesn't allow us to do so!"...but I here ask a question can you see a person whining every second out of pain just because your custom, ur traditions or maybe your emotions doesn't allow you to do so??? You cannot muster the courage to free the patient of the intolerable pain, and think of the person bearing the pain...he must be suffering very hard, that is the reason he is demanding DEATH. Now, people denouncing the approval of law say that some people employ euthanasia as a technique to kill their mental instead of physical pain...C'mon! people who wanna die out of their mental pain will die and thats wat we call as SUICIDE. People do misinterpret SUICIDE with EUTHANASIA, but the terms are different as in one z a leeway to mental plan and the latter to physical pain.
My point of view says that Euthanasia needs to be legalized. Under patient and the family's consideration, the doctors should be given the right to free him/her(patient) of the pain!!

I go with it!!
Given that there is no way to cure the person, while he is living a life on medical apparatus, its better to free him than to leave him struggling with those arificial breaths!!
and that z wat the nation needs to believe!!
It is painful to see someone close dying, but it is more painful to see him suffering and his intolerable pain......So euthanasia should be universally legalized
Yeah! It surely needs to be legalized.
